PDAC 2026: SONAMINES SHOWCASES ITS CORNERSTONE PROJECTS: booth N° 7702N

Participation in the 2026 edition of the world's premier mining convention aims to woo strategic technical and financial partners.

The National Mining Corporation (SONAMINES S.A) opened its stand No. 7702N on 1st March 2026 to the 30,000 visitors from 125 countries attending the 94th edition of the Prospectors and Developers Association Convention (PDAC). The Corporation’s participation in this exhibition fair aims to attract international investors interested in the critical minerals that abound in Cameroon's subsoil. Using a strategic and determined approach in its deployment, the State's operational arm in Cameroon's mining sector mainly showcases the Akonolinga rutile and the Nkamouna cobalt-nickel-manganese projects, which were recently retroceded to it, as well as its other projects which require investors.

The first day of the exhibition was particularly marked by enthusiasm for this stand, which welcomed nearly 200 visitors. The event, placed under the transition theme: "From Vision to Action in a Transforming Mining Industry", is intended to run from 1st to 4th March 2026.
