Launch of SONAMINES activities in the East and Adamaoua Regions from 26 to 29 July 2021

 

The General Manager of the Société Nationale des Mines (SONAMINES), Serge Hervé BOYOGUENO, informs the national opinion that he will conduct an information campaign in the mining sites of the Eastern and Adamaoua Regions from 26 to 30 July 2021.

This working visit aims to raise awareness of institutional and private actors involved in the mining sector, on the missions of SONAMINES, as well as on the regulations in force in the sector.

This activity which will take place precisely in the Departments of Lom and Djerem, Kadey and Mbéré, is part of the launch of field activities of this structure created by presidential decree on December 14, 2020.

SONAMINES also intends during this campaign, to generate through several concrete actions, a change of behavior in these mining areas where the schooling rate is the lowest.
