International Women’s Day:First try ever, masterstroke at SONAMINES.

The National Mining Corporation communed with the rest of the international community in giving voice to the celebration of this day.

The entire female staff of SONAMINES vibrated last March 8 to the tune of the 37th edition of the International Women's Day celebrated this year under the theme: "Equality Between Women and Men Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow". The young age of this Corporation was not an impediment to its fulfillment. Even though the week dedicated to the celebration did not include any major activities, the convivial reception offered by the General Manager marked everyone's spirits, as it was the very first moment of communion between the top management and the entire staff since the establishment of the Institution on 14 December, 2020. In between interludes, speeches and other moments of fun, the talents of SONAMINES’ staff in general and that of the ladies in particular were revealed and spotlighted.

Enhanced by the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Blaise Moussa, the General Manager, Serges Hervé BOYOGUENO, and their respective wives, as well as the Deputy General Manager, FRU Johnathan, March 8, 2022 set the scene for the positioning of women within this organization.
